This 3D transfer's general attributes impress a great deal, and they're matched by the marvelous and practically faultless accompanying 3D elements. Their initial interaction is very good. The result is a top and bottom layer that don't quite match up.
A more subtle sympathetic Scrooge is more appropriate for a more subtle message. They'll be the only ones willing to overlook the blatantly obvious flaws. I would like to see another Mickey appearance soon! This is because holiday movies are perennially important, whereas other movies aren't. Voices are clean and clear but rather hollow and tinny on the whole particularly when Scrooge is being visited by the Ghost of Christmas Past in his bed chambers. That said, the length of the short doesn't really lessen the story's emotional gut punches or shortchange its impact.
