As you can imagine, capturing the essence of Wong Yung is no easy task, but Barbara has done it. One half of the forty-minute running time consists of recaps of scenes that could spoil some of the story, so beware, as the special is the first episode of disc one. All subsequent remakes from whichever movie company or studio of whichever place or country are mere shoddy attempts that resulted in delivering a robotic, mechanical and excruciatingly contrived repertoire of pretty young faces who should be photographic fashion models rather than performing artists, actors and singers.
