I fabricated a new transmission cross member for mine and got the shift boots and trim from an 85. Fixed a few minor things on it since then including the master and slave cylinder, new rotors and break pads etc. A bolt came off the inside of the valve cover and fell into my head where the camshaft drove it into the head cracking me head so that water was able to leak into my oil. The stock rubber body bushings were pretty rotted and the mounting bolts on everything were due for replacement too. Got some kinda bad news. Even if you had to pay somebody to make up the adapters it shouldn't be a big deal.
